Recently, Hoonigan Racing Division’s Ken Block was tapped to star in the latest commercial for the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada as a part of their massive $620 million makeover.

Block, as well as his world-famous Ford Mustang RTR Hoonicorn V2 joined an all-star cast consisting of some of the world’s most well-known pop culture, action sports and street art icons. The list includes: Cardi B, Marshmello, Emily Ratajkowski, Rita Ora, Adrianna Lima, Dapper Dan, Ezra Miller, Michael Symon, Ozuna, Ryan Sheckler, Leticia Bufoni, Felipe Pantone, Timothy Curtis, Jason REVOK and Gary Stranger.

Block and the Hoonicorn V2 were brought in to perform for two separate scenes in the spot. First up? Block chaining his Ford Mustang up to a replica of the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada,” sign and lighting up all four wheels in a burnout as he pulls the sign down.

The second scene has Block showcasing his driving ability by coming in full-tilt to the Palms valet area by the main entrance—which is very slippery concrete—and entering into flame-shooting donuts around a bell-hop as the bell-hop attempts to make it to the casino doors.

“I had an absolute blast being a part of this commercial for the Palms,” said Block. “I’ve been fortunate that I’ve been able to participate in a ton of different films and video projects, but being brought in to work alongside some of the names that are included in this commercial and to be able to showcase not just my driving, but my fire spitting Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2 as well? Absolute dream come true. Plus, we were able to collaborate with Felipe Pantone again on a special one-off livery for the Hoonicorn for this shoot and I think it turned out awesome!”

The livery that Block refers to was a one-off design by international graffiti artist Felipe Pantone (whom Block had worked with for Block’s 2016 racing livery) that was applied to Block’s Hoonicorn V2 specifically for the Palms commercial shoot. The reason that Pantone was chosen was due to his past of working with Block, as well as the fact that the Palms has invested heavily in modern artists for artwork within the property and Pantone is one of those artists.
